Caring for your Conversion

Each of our conversions are carefully hand crafted to meet strict quality standards utilising only the finest, most thermally efficient materials. Our conversions undergo rigorous testing to ensure they meet the superior standard you would expect from a Wet Pets product and they require very little maintenance to keep them looking grrrreat!

Cleaning:

The conversions should be cleaned internally at a frequency compliant with pertinent Health and Safety Legislation. Deep cleaning can easily be done by a power washer but please refrain from aiming the lance directly at the joints or other areas coated in sealant as this may weaken the seal. Nor should the water be directed at any electrical item.

To clean any ingrained dirt in the floor we recommend using Acetone - this will bring the floor up like new. Please refrain from using this on any sealant. Acetone can also be used on the white gloss GRP wall to remove any tough areas.

It is advised to regularly wash each area of sealant with a non-abrasive cleaner for example "CIF" and rinse thoroughly to avoid mould, hair or bacteria building up.

Removing steam and drying walls:

Due to the Hydrobath producing hot water / steam please turn on your electric vent to "extract" the steam during bathing. The vent will remove a large amount of steam but it is always recommended to wipe down the walls and hard surfaces at the end of the day to prevent any moisture building up in the conversion over night.

All wet towels should be removed from cupboards at the end of each day.

Keeping your Hydrobath Clean:

The bath is fitted with filter bags which catch all of the hair and debris and will need to be regularly washed out. To keep the bath smelling fresh and to kill any bacteria, we recommend using Hydrobath Flush. Please do not use Milton tablets as they may corrode the pipework.
